Cel Shader

recently i've been asked to do some r&d regarding cel shading in 3D, i've picked MAX to do some shading, lighting and enviroment setups and check-ups.

here are some renders from MAX, it's all been done in MAX, no outer plug ins for rendering/shading/lighting, i've used "color corrector" (which is a free plug in) in order to automate color variation.

rendered using MAX scanline at about 25sec per frame.
